Remington saddle rails
Mesa Tactical Saddle Rails
comprise 6061-T6 aluminum brackets that wrap around the top of
the shotgun receiver. The factory trigger pins are replaced by
internally thread steel pins, to which both sides of the saddle
rail is securely bolted. The saddle rail is Type
III anodized for a rugged surface
finish.
The Mesa Tactical
Saddle Rail is specially contoured to allow operation of a
semi-automatic bolt on the right side of the receiver, so it can
be installed on Remington 1100 and Remington 11-87 semi-auto
shotguns as well as Remington 870 pump shotguns.
No fitting or gunsmithing is
required to install.

Mossberg rails
Mossberg rails attach directly
to the receivers of late-model (1997 and later) Mossberg
shotguns with pre-tapped holes. These rails can only be fitted
to later-model Mossberg featuring factory tapped holes in the
receiver.
Standard profile rails are for
general purpose optics mounting applications. These rails adhere
to the minimum height requirement of the MIL-STD-1913
specification, and should not be used for mounting optics with
the High-tube telescoping stock adapters.
Tall Profile rails are only
for use with Mesa Tactical telescoping stock adapters. These
rails allow easy access to the Mossberg safety switch.
These rails can be installed
on other shotguns by tapping the top of the shotgun receiver
with #8-40 UNS threads. Consult a
gunsmith.

Adapter Mount Picatinny Rails
Adapter Mount Picatinny Rails
fasten to the accessory mount points on the sides of Mesa
Tactical High-tube and Low-tube telescoping stock adapters, not
on the shotgun receiver. The can also be used with the new
barrel and magazine clamps, which feature the same mounting hole
patters as our stock adapters.
Standard profile rails like
the Stubby adhere to the minimum height requirement of the
MIL-STD-1913 specification, and should not be used for mounting
optics with the High-tube telescoping stock adapters.
The following standard profile
rails feature attachment points along the length of the
Picatinny rail.
Tall profile rails are
designed to mount optics for use with High-tube telescoping
stock adapters, or to mount accessories slightly away from the
receiver when fastened to the telescoping stock adapter side
accessory mount points. When used for optics, the elevation of
the tall profile rails is similar to that of a flat top AR-15.

Adapter Mount Saddle Rails
Mesa Tactical adapter mount
saddle rails are secured to both sides of a telescoping stock
adapter, cantilevering forward over the receiver. They provide a
convenient means of attaching a Picatinny sight rail to shotguns
equipped with our Low-tube telescoping stock adapters; or, for
High-tube adapter shotguns, an alternative to the sight rail
screwed into the top of the adapter. No alterations to the
shotgun receiver are required.
Designed for zero
magnification optics such as red dot scopes, the cantilevered
saddle rails can vibrate slightly and may be unsuitable for high
magnification rifle scopes.
The rails can be fitted onto
Remington 870s with Low-tube adapters and Wilson Combat ghost
ring sights, allowing the iron sights to act as back-up for a
scope.
Note** There are different part numbers for
each style of telescoping stock adapter. The adapter mount
saddle rail for High Tube adapters can also install on Low-Tube
20ga Remington 870s.
