Tactical Saddle Mounts comprise aluminum brackets that wrap over the
top of the Remington Shotgun receiver.
The
factory pins are replaced with internally threaded steel pins to
which both sides of the saddle rail are secured. The SureShell
Saddle Mounts feature a Mil-STD-1913 Picatinny rail along the top
and a SureShot shotshell yoke on the left side in either 4 shot -6
shot or 8 shot.
No fitting or gunsmithing is required to
install the SureShell Saddle Mount to your Remington 870, 1100 or
11-87 with same exception of all Shotshell holders.
You will need to install a shortened forend
such as the ATI or Surefire. With the 8 Shot shell carriers
you may need to shave off a 1/2 " off the forend.
The Saddle mount is an excellent to not only
add back up ammunition to your Tactical Shotgun., the included top
Picatinny allows the operator to add an Optic such as the EoTech
Holographic Scope.
