Tactical Shotgun
Accessories stocks an exclusive package which includes a single
point Web -Loop -00 and the H&K Hook -01 with every single point
sling. To convert this Single point sling to a Two Point sling you
only need to order a front modular lanyard to fit your needs.
 This
is the All New sling that was released at the 2007 Shot Show.
This revolutionary new sling quickly converts from a single point
sling to a two point sling. It allows the operator to choose which
configuration will suit them best. The single point sling
configuration is more beneficial in urban areas during MOUT
operations, where as the two point configuration will work best in
rural areas, on TCP’s or sentry duty. The conversion can be
completed in less than a minute. This sling can be installed on any
weapon system. It is versatile enough to be installed on weapons as
small as an MP5K, and all the way up to a weapon as large as an
M240. The main sling body is universal to all weapons. What makes it
specific to each weapon system are the Lanyards that connect to the
weapon.
The URBAN-E.R.T. Modular Sling System is totally ambidextrous, and
adjustable to fit over any amount of gear or just a t-shirt with
just one pull of the Cinch StrapTM .
The URBAN-E.R.T. sling has a unique method of converting the sling
from a right hand shooter's sling to accommodate the left hand
shooter as well. This one time operation is easily accomplished by
simply removing the webbing from the trig-glide, and flipping the
"Ambi-Ring Assembly "TM around, and reassembling it to a mirror
image.
The lanyard
assemblies with the male side release buckles can remain on the
various weapon systems. Having multiple inexpensive lanyard
assemblies attached to several different weapons, means you can
mission select any weapon from your arsenal.
If you wish to utilize the Single
point sling as a two point sling you will need to purchase a front
modular strap. Unless you can utilize the two sling modular parts
that we include, example the included H&K hook at the back point and
the Web Loop on the front. The two included modular sling
attachments are the most common and versatile. All other sling modular types can be
ordered.
FEATURES:
QUICK CINCH strap. You only need
to grab the sling, throw it on, and rapidly cinch it down for a
perfect fit. This allows the operator to concentrate on the serious
business at hand, and not worrying about rigging the sling to fit
properly over different clothing and vests!
SIDE RELEASE BREAK AWAY BUCKLES. The
URBAN-E.R.T. US2 sling comes standard with a Side Release Buckle
Break Away to enable the emergency breakaway of the entire weapon
system should any issue of sling or weapon entanglement arise. We
have specifically chosen the National Molding buckle that has an
approximate breaking strength of 150-200lbs in order to prevent the
tactical operator from becoming hung up on an obstacle, and not
being able to manually break away. If this were to occur, the buckle
would likely break under the operator's weight or shock load, and
free the operator. If this occurs, simply return the sling for free
repair or replacement. The National Molding Side Release Buckle is
more than sufficient to support the weight of any man portable
weapon system.
The PALS strip allows the installation
of MOLLE accessories such as a spare magazine pouch, a field
dressing pouch, flashlight pouch, or any other accessory that you
might need in a pinch.
Elastic shock webbing.
The Elastic webbing absorbs any shock that you might experience from
the weapon being dropped to transition to your sidearm or while climbing over
obstacles.
Ambidextrous Ring Assembly. On
the sling is a revolutionary method of merging the three
intersecting points together. A one
inch high strength Delerin Ring is used to allow the sling to better
form to your body, which prevents excess webbing from hanging up on
the weapon during transitions. This assembly also allows the sling
to be converted for left hand shooters. This one time operation
converts the sling from a right hand shooter's sling to accommodate
the left hand shooter as well. This is easily accomplished by simply
pulling the two loop locks apart and removing the webbing for the
transition, then flipping the "Ambi-Ring Assembly "TM around, and
reassembling it to a mirror image.
 If
the need arises to fire the weapon from a non traditional shooting
stance, the URBAN-SENTRY configured as a single point sling will
provide the tactical operator more freedom to conceal their body
behind cover.
Any weapon from your arsenal can be safely and rapidly deployed or
stowed, eliminating timely sling selection and adjustment to the
needs of a wide range of missions.
The URBAN-E.R.T. Sling is constructed of 1" and 2"high strength
nylon webbing. Side release buckles have a breaking strength of
approximately 150-200lbs.
