Highlight: This level II duty holster is designed to fit G17 19 31 32 (Gen 1-5), G22 23 (Gen 1-4), G19X 44 45 with max security for protecting your life every second.

Helpful review: "Been using this Level 3 Holster now for 6 weeks and it is amazing. Quality build, gun does not rattle around, easy to use and I've drawn from the holster in practice over 500 times with a hiccup.
Compared to other brand name holsters, this stands up just as good. I own other top dollar holsters; side by side they both work perfectly.
I've been carrying my firearm in this holster while on duty for 6 weeks and I am truly happy with this product." — Bill Rice
Trending review: "It's definitely worth the price. I use this for my armed guard kit. I've used it for about a month and am pleased with it. I have noticed that the screws to keep the holster angled/ straight need to be tightened and checked. I've had to do it twice. I haven't wrestled with it on so I can't speak to how it holds up to that kind of abuse. However it fits my Glock 19 and 45 perfectly. I also had an MP Shield in it. It locked well with that too." — jeremy chiano
Reassuring review: "Works like a charm. What i really like is that it also works with my PSA dagger, as due to the slight frame differences from a true glock 19 not everything does.
Also, excellent customer support. My order had a small issue (some missing hardware on the belt attachment) and they went above and beyond fixing it, sending me another whole unit right away" — Flint

2. BLACKHAWK - SERPA Level 3 Auto Lock Duty Holster

Top-Rated: 1,626 ratings

Best Duty Holster

Highlight: No snaps or hoods to accidentally open, weapon stays secured until you decide to draw

Helpful review: "I bought this solely for use in armed security. The included belt attachment is annoying in that it doesn't allow you to slide the rig forward or back once it's on there, making it a royal pain to find exactly where you want it to be on your belt before you cinch down the screws to permanently secure it. Also, the low-hanging position of the belt mount is uncomfortable as heck when you're sitting in a vehicle (especially one with a center console), because it makes the holster dig into your thigh. The mid- or high-position mounts available for the SERPA holsters are MUCH better and pretty much a must-get.
The Level III retention device takes a little bit of extra practice, just enough that you need to get in the habit of keeping your thumb stiff so it can push the button that disengages the top retention piece, but I've compared my draw-and-shoot times with a shot timer and it comes out to be almost exactly the same with this holster as it does with my Level II SERPA duty holster. The top retention piece flips back far enough out of the way that it doesn't hang up on the rear sight and doesn't interfere with the draw stroke at all, so you don't have to really do anything different in that sense. However, you do have to draw upwards just an inch or so higher with this holster to clear it during the draw stroke versus the non-duty SERPA holsters, since these have that extra bit of protective shell going up the FULL length of the slide instead of just half or three-quarters of it. Also, re-engaging the top lock is an extra step, and a little awkward, but even if you just re-holster the pistol like any other SERPA holster, it still clicks securely into place and it's not like your gun is going to fall out or anything if you don't snap that top part closed.
Otherwise, this is just like any other SERPA holster in that it's simple, rugged, functional, secure, and nice-looking.
EXTRA BONUS: I bought this to fit a full-size Smith & Wesson M&P45, but it also perfectly fits my SD9VE, as well as my Glock 30 (it will also fit a Glock 21 or 20), so the extra versatility is kind of handy if you own more than one pistol of a similar size group." — David Bachman
Trending review: "Very good quality awesome safety features, kinda bulky but it is a duty model. So on the description on amazon it said It will fit the 5 inch tactical Springfield XD kinda not true. It fit after I jammed it in there and finally was able to close the thumb lock( probably should not have done that but I was determined) The problem is that at the end of the holster, the barrel is supposed to stop on this lip. The 5" is too long and lands on the lip with the extra inches sticking up out the back where the thumb lock is supposed to close. I'm sure if there was no lip it would slide right in no problem.this is only mean for compact sizes. Unless there is a level 3 that fits the 5" tactical and I just got the wrong one. The Serpa level 2 has no lip and my XD slides in and out perfectly. Tho it does stick out of the holster just a bit. (Only about
1-1 1/2 ") I ended up trading a coworker for his level 2 and it work beautifully. Lost a few bucks on it but I didn't want to waste more time and money on shipping thing back and forth. Other than my own mistakes I give the product 5 stars and is great if you don't have a 5" tactical." — Arman
Reassuring review: "I really appreciate the quick safe draw I get with the SERPA Level 3 Auto Lock Duty Holster. It's very easy to draw. I don't know how some can't keep their trigger finger placement when drawing.
I put the sportster attachment on it because I don't like the belt attachment that comes with it. I'm about to get another and work it into my carry jacket without the attachment.
While I like the sportster footprint, I prefer the level 3 safety." — T.A. Gideon

3. Safariland - 6390

Top-Rated: 201 ratings

Best Duty Holster

Highlight: ALS (Automatic Locking System) secures weapon once holstered; simple straight up draw once the release is deactivated

Helpful review: "I was looking into starting 3 gun sports and I was looking for a good belt holster. In professional use I've used Safariland gear before. As they say, you get what you pay for. While the Safariland is one of the more expensive options. They offer superior durability and function.
This holster can be modified to a higher threat level use by replacing the cover. The Level one retention is very solid. Very little weapon movement. Yet at the same time, very positive feel and easy to disengage when needed.
You can upgrade the holster to level II retention with the optional ALS guard.
If you are looking for a higher retention holster. Safariland has a newer ALS holster, the 7360 7TS that is available in level III retention.
I previously used a leather Safariland level III holster as a police officer and it never failed me. This 6390 holster has a better fit than my old leather holster, and I suspect it will last me a lifetime." — Kraziken
Trending review: "What I received was a 100% genuine Safariland holster. It appears to be well built and offers outstanding active weapon retention. I'm not a big fan of having my gun sit at a forward cant, but there are aftermarket remedies to this if I just can't get used to it.
After receiving this holster, I understand why Safariland is the standard used by the professionals who carry weapons every day for work. The ALS system offers great retention but is easy to release when drawing your gun - your thumb hits the ALS lever easily, and drawing with fluid, uninterrupted movement can be reliably achieved after only a few dozen repetitions.
Great product, and definitely the first of many Safariland holsters that I'll buy!" — Brent R
Reassuring review: "It's safariland enough said. Really though this holster is great. I have it for my Glock 19 with a light attached. I run the LAPG weapon light and a TLR-1 HL. Both lights work just fine. I have noticed some differences. For instance the safariland 6378 series holster for my Glock 19. The lapg light and the tlr-1 HL both fit smoothly. But on the 6390 series my lapg light it is slightly more snug. The draw and holster is still smooth but you can feel slight tension. It comes with an als guard, but if you're like me and want more retention you can get the safariland attachments that cover the ALS button. This holster is in black stx tactical. My Glock is a gen 3 just for reference. Hopefully this helps the many curious souls that surf the reviews for their answers like I do." — Josh Venable

4. HQDA - G19 Level III Retention Holster

Highlight: Designed for G17 G19 G23 G32 G44 G45 (Gen1-5), the paddle holster is suitable for law enforcement personnel. Tactical Outside Waistband Perfectly protect your love gun.

Helpful review: "This is a review of the G19 Level III Retention Holster with Rapid Release Law Enforcement Duty Holster for (GEN 1-5) Glock17/19/19X, Glock 23/32, Glock 45/44, Press Down to Slide Adjustment, Cant Polymer Duty Belt Holster.
This is a great holster. Unfortunately, I am left handed. I did not pay attention when I ordered it.
The straps are strong. The latches are secure and it securely hold the weapon. The plastic is very durable. I messed around with it for a bit but drawing and then switching hands is not useful. I’ll have to see if they offer a left-handed version and order it. It does lay on your leg very comfortably as well.
I highly recommend this for anyone needing to holster their weapon this way. You’ll not find too many better." — devildawg
Trending review: "I’ve only had this holster a few days, but I love it!
Comfortable? Yep
Easy to use? Yep
Secure? Yep
Does it print? Yeah, but not more than your average OWB.
Value? Definitely!" — David Lawler
Reassuring review: "Just received my holster. It arrived on time. My gen 2 G22 for a little loose, but after installing the internal piece, it fit like a glove. A couple of items make this a better holster than my previous one.
1. There's a switch inside the belt clip to lock the cant. Very nice, did not expect that.
2. The belt clip itself is much easier to open than my other holster.
The only bad part, so far, is that the internal piece for the earlier gens did not have instructions for installation. I had to figure it out by trial and error. I'm usually pretty handy with such things, so it didn't take much to get it installed.
All in all, happy with the fit and quality of this piece." — Gabriel Price

5. Rabray - G19 Level 3 Retention Duty Holster

Top-Rated: 391 ratings

Best Duty Holster

Highlight: Glock 19 Gen 1 2 3 4 5, Glock 17 Gen 1 2 3 4 5, Glock 23 Gen 1 2 3 4, Glock 22 Gen 1 2 3 4, Glock 19X, Glock 45, Glock 44 - Right Handed(Note: Doesn't fit Glock 23 Gen 5 and guns with laser, flashlight or suppressor sight)

Helpful review: "The best value level 3 holster by far. However, it’s interesting that it accommodates red dots but not suppressor height front sights, which many red dot/MOS handgun setups usually include suppressor height sights. It became too tight of a fit and I didn’t want to swap out the front sight or sand the inside.
Also worth noting is the Level II retention (w/out the Level III hood activated): it doesn’t retain. Only with the L3 hood does it really become retained.
Nonetheless, I still would have kept it if it fit my suppressor height front sight." — John H
Trending review: "This is an absolutely amazing level three holster is retention is amazing I had one of my buddies tried pulling on my weapon to get it out of the holster as hard as he could and he couldn't do it.
The motion to draw is really easy to learn and this holster is smooth as butter.
The only thing that didn't work for me was it did not allow for use of my holson Red Dot sight so I have to keep it removed in order to use the holster, this usi8the stock iron sights from Glock." — Grand Master
Reassuring review: "I’m very pleased with my purchase of this Level 3 holster. It was exactly as advertised & my .40 caliber Glock 22 fits in it perfectly.
My order arrived on time & I was happy with my first experience with this vendor. I will use this company in the future, as needed & recommend it to those that need equipment." — Quiana R.Singleton
