Helpful review: "Title: Perfect Solution for Concealed Carry: A Must-Have Belly Band!
Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5 stars)
Review:
I recently purchased the belly band for carrying my firearm concealed, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. As an avid gun enthusiast and someone who values personal safety, finding the right method of carrying my weapon discreetly has always been a top priority. This belly band has truly exceeded my expectations in every way.
First and foremost, the comfort level of this belly band is remarkable. The soft, breathable neoprene material feels gentle against the skin and prevents any discomfort, even during extended periods of wear. The adjustable straps provide a snug and secure fit, allowing for customization to my body shape and size. Whether I'm wearing it underneath my clothing or over a t-shirt, the belly band remains virtually invisible, making it perfect for both formal and casual occasions.
The functionality of this belly band is truly impressive. It features multiple pockets and holsters, allowing me to carry not only my firearm but also spare magazines, a flashlight, and even my smartphone. The elastic retention straps ensure that my firearm stays in place, providing quick and easy access when needed. I appreciate the versatility this belly band offers, as it accommodates a wide range of handguns, regardless of size or shape.
Another aspect I love about this belly band is its ability to distribute the weight of my firearm evenly across my abdomen. This prevents any strain on my lower back and eliminates the discomfort associated with traditional holster options. The band also provides excellent retention and support, even during active movements or exercise. I can confidently engage in physical activities without worrying about my weapon shifting or becoming exposed.
Moreover, the belly band is exceptionally well-made, with high-quality stitching and durable materials. It's clear that the manufacturers put thought into every detail to ensure longevity and reliability. The band remains securely in place and shows no signs of wear, even after frequent use and washing.
Lastly, I must mention the outstanding customer service provided by the company. They were prompt in addressing my inquiries and offered helpful advice on sizing and fit. It's always reassuring to know that a company stands behind its product and is dedicated to customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, if you're in search of a reliable and comfortable concealed carry solution, I highly recommend the belly band. Its superior comfort, versatility, and excellent build quality make it an outstanding choice for anyone who values discreet and secure firearm carry. Invest in this belly band, and you'll experience the peace of mind and confidence that comes with having your weapon within easy reach at all times.
Note: Always familiarize yourself with local laws and regulations regarding concealed carry before using any firearm accessories." — Abby
Trending review: "I just got this product a few days ago and am very pleased with it. I've had the chance to carry with it for two full days and practice drawing/dry-firing.
The system is highly adjustable, allowing you to wrap it to the precise carry positions you want for the holster and mag pouches. I've been using it to carry a revolver inside the waistband in the appendix position, along with two speed strips of spare ammo in the mag pouches.
The velcro is tight and feels very secure. It takes some intentional pulling to get the belt off, which is a good thing. This enables you to draw your weapon with one hand, if needed. It does take some extra practice for a one-handed draw as you need to get used to disengaging the snap on the holster. Otherwise, it is quick and easy to draw your weapon from the holster using both hands.
I found this holster system to be very comfortable and easily concealed under business casual attire. The best thing about this system for me is that it conceals between my under shirt and dress shirt, without the need for support from my pants belt. That means the weapon remains concealed and does not need to be removed from the appendix position while using the restroom, which is really nice during a long day of work when I am using public restrooms and traveling around on a tight schedule. With other holster systems I have, using a public restroom requires more time and consideration.
I don't have any complaints about the product. I am very pleased with it. The only thing I might warn about is that it seems to be very much designed with concealed carry in mind. With that said, it is not as quick to draw with compared to my other holster systems. However, it conceals better and more comfortably than any other system I own, which is why I think it's great and I'd highly recommend this product." — (N/A)
Reassuring review: "I've tried so many holsters and even after my custom made Alien Gear Holster I reach for this holster every time. My firearm has actually fallen out of my Alien holster and it's not just annoying but dangerous. I've talked so highly of this that my boyfriend, my mom, my dad, my brother, my coworker, and now my coworkers mom is ordering one. Going to order another in a smaller waist size too as I ordered 1 a little too long, but the best part is even if it's too big you can tighten it as tight as you want or need. I can move it around to have my firearm sit infront, in the back, low or high, and even wear it sitting in the front under my chest depending on what clothing I'm wearing.
This is so simple yet so good. Love it!!" — Christina Fritz

2. BRAVOBELT - Belly Band Holster

Best Holster For Fat Guys

Highlight: Experience the perfect blend of comfort and adaptability, available in two sizes to accommodate belly sizes up to 44 inches for the Standard Fit, and 55 inches for the XL. Ensure the best fit by measuring your belly, not pant size. Each holster is 5 inches wide.

Helpful review: "I was going to go with the Comfortac band but decided to go with this because the quality just seemed to be a bit higher and I wasn’t disappointed. The stitching is well done, holster is flexible to hold different pieces with a nice trigger cover and it really is as versatile to wear as they say (I was skeptical). You can wear it low, at belly, high, rotate to any position and it’s actually really comfortable. Not a fan of retention straps but this one is just about perfect, tight enough to keep it from falling out but the retention is light enough to pop right off when clearing the shirt on a draw. Clearing the released strap on draw takes some getting used to, so definitely get some practice in before taking it for a test drive. The only thing I don’t like about it is that I got the XL size per Bravo Belt recommendation of being within 2” of a 44”+ belly and now I have too much excess so the band overlaps right under the holster which adds bulk and increased printing. Would be cool if I could swap this one for their normal size band but I doubt they’ll let me do that. My personal advice if your belly is under 46”, get the regular sized band as the XL creates too much bulk for those who don’t actually need the extra length." — Ryan L
Trending review: "I hadn't owned a belly band holster for a few years. I decided to give Bravobelt a try because the price was reasonable and it got good reviews.
I've been legally carrying a concealed handgun most of my adult life and have had lots of holsters.
The Bravobelt in my opinion is a good holster for a smaller, lighter firearm like a snub nosed revolver or compact 9 mm. It hugs the body well, is easy to conceal, and looks and feels well made. It also works for lefties like me which is a good bonus..:)
I've worn this holster with a snub nosed revolver on walks and bicycle rides and it's more comfortable than other types of holsters I've used.
I think if you have a smaller handgun, Bravobelt gives you concealed carry options that a belt holster does not." — Franklin Garza
Reassuring review: "Once you tighten the belt down and Velcro it around your waist, any portion of the belt past the velcro just kind of hangs there and will eventually move below or above the belt. This makes wearing it uncomfortable. I wish they had velcro on both ends of the belt. That would secure the belt better and make it where all this extra material doesn't end up below or above the belt. Other than that, the belt seems do ok." — Caccey Moeller

Helpful review: "I'm a fat guy, once the Dr told me to stop committing suicide one cheeseburger at a time, he ordered me to hit the pavement. I carry concealed ALWAYS, maybe it's because of bad parenting or I'm inadequate in the lower section of my body (if you know what I mean). So I went nuts looking for something that could maintain concealment while running (HA! did I say run, I meant waddle at a faster than usual pace) . I tried everything, work out pants with "comfort" ankle holsters, fanny packs (yeah, I'm secure enough to wear a fanny pack, it's designed to work out, don't laugh!), Shoulder harness...yada yada yada, nothing worked. Then I saw this on Amazon (great price, generous return policy), I thought, why not give it a shot. I'M NOT GIVING IT BACK! It works perfect for me, It's really snug (did I mention I'm fat?) but adjustable, doesn't slip, breathable, and carries everything I need. I read a few reviews from cops that say (read this in the whiniest of voices) "but it doesn't fit my desert eagle and my back up magazines". All I have to say to them is, get your head out of your prostate. Who the carries a 1911 on a jog? Unless your jogging in Iraq surrounded by insurgents. Grab your smallest piece, forget about the extra rounds, and hit the trail. For the record, I'm not some hack that was "rewarded or compensated" for my feedback. I genuinely love this belly band holster, and I'm the clown that only leaves feedback when something REALLY sucks. Also, to be fair, on my runs (HA! I said it again) I carry a featherweight revolver and my iPhone with ear bud case. That's all I need, no more, no less. Run Fast, Never Stop, and Stay Safe!" — D. Gonzalez
Trending review: "This is a tough review to write and I think it is more about what I expected when I purchased this holster vs. anything to do with the holster itself.
I am a chubby guy with a little tire (not a giant belly) around the waist. I have been carrying a Compact (not a subcompact) 9mm double stack in a Inside the Waist Band Holster (with a belt) for the past 3 years. I wear it appendix. The problem I have is sitting and my gut making the gun really dig into me and basically making very uncomfortable.
I got interested in this holster after much research and it seemed to work well for those with a large/very large stomach who couldn't or wouldn't wear a belt. That they could wrap it around just above their waist and under their belly and it would be hidden as the shirt fell over their stomach. Size of the gun didn't seem to matter much.
The second most common use seemed to be to those who were on the slimmer side and didn't want to wear a belt (ie sweat pants, shorts, workout etc) and typically they had a subcompact. That slimmer mid section and the size of the gun seemed to hold the gun close to their body and they easily concealed, especially if you are a women where your shirt hangs over your belly for obvious reasons.
I am in between both of those. My gun is a compact, but it has a double stack grip and I do have a small belly. What happens when I wrap this holster around my lower belly is, I look extra fat and my small belly pushes out the grip of the gun, no matter which way I turn the holster or move it up or down my belly. It is very obvious. So, I try pushing the holster down into the top of my pant into more of an inside the waist band position and then I run into the same problem I had with the inside the Waist Band Holster, it digs into me when I sit. HERE is the bottom line for me. I am keeping this holster, but I won't be using it for this gun. I think if I had something along the lines of a (single stack) P365 or a M&P Sheild (staggard Stack), which I plan to get and I think it will hold the grip of the gun tightly against me. Or if I lose 10 pounds or so I will be slim enough to properly conceal the current gun. My opinion is, for certain people this works great if you are in those above category of body style or if you have a very slim gun.
The quality of the holster and fit is great. I only have a couple of concerns, but not deal breakers. For starters because of it's universal fit, the strap that holds the gun in adds some bulk and is bit concerning as to if it could fail. There is no hard trigger guard in the holster, just the material. Most likely something won't get through to pull the trigger, but still a potential. I am going to add a hard trigger guard. Perhaps is they made it more gun specific they could incorporate a kydex shell and solve both problems." — Mr. Mechanic
Reassuring review: "This product is worth every penny. It is cheaper than any holster I have ever bought but it is still made of decent quality. I have only had it for about a month but it is holding up well so far. It is very comfortable. I am a pretty small guy 5 ft 7in and 150lbs so when I wear a t-shirt I print a little to much but I'm pretty sure it's bcz I'm a small guy. I also like the versatility of being able to wear it any way I want to accommodate what is more comfortable for the shooter." — Nik

Highlight: Can be worn inside the waistband, outside the waistband, cross body, appendix position, 5 O'clock position (behind hip), small of back, and even high up like a shoulder holster under your shirt.

Helpful review: "I was so hesitant to order because on 5/7 and 360lbs with a 61 inch stomach. I accidentally ordered two of these and couldn't be any happier that I did they both fit really well they stay in place they don't roll up and I work 3rd shift at the gas station. Most of the night I forget I'm even wearing it and I don't have to bother switching my guns out I can just change to a different band to wear a different gun. It does not make me extra hot it is not uncomfortable and I wear it with overalls and it doesn't even print outside of the overalls it does print a little bit but that's because my revolver is a full size .357 but my Glock 48 you don't even notice really. This is the happiest mistake since my first kid lol. I don't do a lot of reviews but I'm glad I have two and if I only had one I'd order another. If I decide to start carrying a different pistol as well as the two I rotate between now I will buy another band so that I can hang them up in my closet and only grab the one I want each time without having to switch them in and out even though that's easy. Well worth it, I can't say enough how well they work for me. Nobody has spotted me carrying in these in the past two weeks and if they start to sick I'll do a edit, but as of now I just want you to know big or small this should be good for you and I feel good turning friends or family on this product." — AlabamaRed
Trending review: "Delivery was on time and so prompt. I ordered this at 8am and received it at 6pm the same day!!! Now let's talk about the product itself. I am a female, size 18/20 in jeans, and so I'm not small lol well this fit so good around my waist! And I still had more room to use! So this is definitely PLUS SIZE APPROVED! It's so easy to put on and it really holds your gun well! I have a glock 9mm and it fits perfectly and also has a magazine holder. I absolutely love this! Now I can carry my gun with me and keep my two boys safe at all times. Reality is that times nowadays are just so unsafe and just having this protection on me at all times feels amazing! I would highly recommend!" — Crystal
Reassuring review: "I was looking for a carry option / holster to wear around the house daily when wearing casual clothes (sweat pants). This meant and OWB (Outside the Waist Band) that didn't require a belt to waist band to clip onto. This fit the bill and I was very pleasantly surprised. It's comfortable, doesn't slide around too much (I still need to adjust some after sitting and standing again, but not very much). When wear a loose pull over shirt or sweat shirt it doesn't print, if you position it right - I found that you need to move the weapon to about the 2'oclock position (where you belly button is 12 oclock) This is for the right handed holster. You're not going to be able to quick draw from it so you'll want to practice with it in various scenarios. I liked the retention strap for both the weapon and the magazine pouch.
I have found that to be most comfortable, you'll want to wear a t-shirt under it.
I've had it for about 30 days, and wear it all day every day around the house.
I've used it with a 40cal and 9mm compact pistols." — Amazon Customer

5. Mostcomtac - Belly Band Holster for Concealed Carry

Best Holster For Fat Guys

Highlight: Mostcomtac belly band holster comes in 3 sizes suitable for everyone, please note that size S is smaller and fits belly 25-32in. Ambidextrous design fits left or right hand draw, and cross draw., The belly holster is adjustable, simple to operate and safe.

Helpful review: "I would call this a borderline gimmick. I'm not going full gimmick, because if you are handy and can fix the problems I am going to list it could be pretty darn convenient, and the material is of good quality which makes it plenty suitable for your investment of time and effort.
You can't really wear it half under your pants as depicted in the pictures unless you buy bigger pants... Not that anyone actually wants a full frame pistol and multiple clips under their belt while walking around and being active.
So you try just above the beltline. Then you try the middle of your torso because it's constantly moving up, or down, or turning.. but that's worse. So you keep moving it trying to find somewhere it will stay, but since it's not actually attached to anything you are wearing it WILL NOT STAY PUT.
When I reach to do a pistol check and realize it's not there, the band turned and now it's 8" away from where I put it, and then have to lift my shirt and straighten my holster in line at the gas station.. those are two things that should NEVER happen when carrying.
If you are active, you will literally be straightening or fixing it every 15 minutes. In the Georgia heat, it's VERY hot and will cause sweat burns from rubbing and constantly moving around.
I'm not giving this very many stars.. actually I'm going to meet them in the middle and give it 3 stars simply because of how many people that perhaps are shaped differently than I am seem to love it, it is made of good material, and I do appreciate the investment into bringing other options for us to try. Actually, I'm going to give them another star for the last reason. Ok, I'm at four stars for a product that I think sucks lol. So don't just take my word for it, but in case you want to here is my opinion:
It's another one of those kinda-great ideas, as with EVERYTHING these days it doesn't seem like they put many resources into testing during development. You could "make it great again", though." — Beansssss
Trending review: "The material is super comfortable compared to other belly band I have used in they 33 years I've been carrying a firearm. Works great with my Glock 19, Glock 26 and S&W 640. Being left handed the removable/adjustable double mag pouch makes this belly band truly ambidextrous. It is sturdy and holds the weapon securely. A retention strap for the weapon and mag pouches assures everything stays in place when engaged in rigorous/vigorous activity. Highly recommended!" — C. Diangelo
Reassuring review: "Just took it out of the bag so I don't know how it will hold up with use, but after wearing a belt holster this is so much better. Really comfortable, the removeable mag pouch can be placed anywhere and really sticks to the velcro belt, and it really helps me with weapon concealment. You can also position the belt for numerous carry locations. I really do love it already. Now if it holds up, I'll be totally thrilled." — gumby

Highlight: Mostcomtac Belly band holster is available in right hand and left hand draw. The S Fit belly 25-32 inch, M Fit belly 33-42inch, L Fit belly 43-53 inch, you can wear this gun holster your way, match any of your clothes, jeans, shorts, skirt, business suit, etc.

Helpful review: "Very glad I tried this. As a woman, my hip holster was very hard to conceal, and I'm not large enough for a lot of the other holster styles out there - plus I wanted something I could wear, well, anywhere pretty much, including while working out outdoors.
This is super comfortable and stays put! I've now worn it walking, running, hiking, and even stretching and don't even notice it's there. I'm carrying a Kahr P40, so not the smallest compact out there, but placed right, I can wear a normal shirt over it and you can hardly see it, add another layer and you wouldn't know unless you're really looking hard.
I do recommend wearing it over a thin layer (I typically wear a cami/tank anyways) so I put it between that and my tee and it's been amazing. Gun is super secure, no bouncing or discomfort at all - not kidding, I forget it's there.
Not sure how long the velcro will last, but at this price, even if it only lasts a couple months I'd buy it again." — AJ
Trending review: "We've tried numerous CC Belts and Mostcomtac is the best hands down. So good in fact we re-ordered to have a spare. The versatile fit, extra pouches, quality construction and great price makes this the best belt available + + + + +" — June
Reassuring review: "This is a really nice belly band. It feels like you’re not even wearing one. The Velcro is very strong and your ammo clips and gun are pretty secure when you take it off to go to the bathroom. I would recommend this brand to anyone. This is worth every penny." — Phil Fino
