Helpful review: "Ok, so here is the deal, I really like this holster, especially since I did a little bit of modifying. I am 6' and 190Lb. and wanted a holster that I could wear appendix. When the holster came, I tried and it was not happening. It may work for someone who wears their pants up really high, but not for me, so I tried a number of other options. A belly band, buying my own kydex, reading, watching videos etc.
Everyone I heard blamed the affordability of the holster, but there is no way I am paying $100 bucks to holster a $280 gun. The end result was that this holster looked a lot like what I was trying to make, but did not do what I wanted it to do. So, with a few minor adjustments, I modified this thing into the most comfortable AIWB holster I have ever worn. I can sit and stand without it digging in anywhere, I can bend over and tie my shoes without crying, and I can comfortably wear just a t-shirt without it printing, and for the first time in my ccw life, I actually forgot I had the thing on me.
So, if you are like me, and like the price, can use a drill, and are willing to do just 10 minutes of work on this thing to make it stand up to any other holster on the market, I have attached some pics to show you what worked for me.
1. I drilled some more holes for the belt clip. In fact, I just took the drill and made a long vertical groove, so that I can loosen and move the belt clip as far down toward the barrel of the gun as possible without scratching the slide of the gun with the screw backings. If you are wanting to carry Appendix, this is the first and possibly the only mod you might have to make on this product. However, I wanted the best, so I kept going.
2. Switch out the rubber insert that adjusts the trigger retention with one of the inserts on the belt clip. Many people on the forums say you need to tighten down the trigger retention anyways, I like my retention pretty tight, and if you add the thick rubber insert to the correct screw, it will push the butt of the gun just slightly towards your body, reducing printing.
3. take some sandpaper (or a belt sander) and sand down the excess kydex that is just off of the front sight. If you are going to carry appendix, any and all pointy things have potential for discomfort. Also, sanding down all of the edges just a little bit, goes a long way with this holster.
4. take a bit of kydex, or aluminum, or whatever and make yourself a raven's claw. This is simply a small curved part of kydex or whatever that will push against the inside of your belt and keep the butt of the gun close to your body. I mention this one last because it is very much a personal preference thing. Where I find it comfortable, and helping with concealment, means others would disagree. If you do this, just drill a hole so that it can be attached to the trigger retention screw.
So why 5 stars if I have to do all of this stuff? because of the price and because all of this stuff is super easy to do! get off your keister and do it!
thanks for reading!" — jhundley3017
Trending review: "This is my second Concealment Express IWB holster that I have purchased and it probably won't be my last!
I initially picked up one of their IWB Kydex holsters for use with my Glock 26 out of pure necessity. All other holsters I was considering at the time were either too expensive or would take much too long to arrive so I "settled" on Concealment Express. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their holster and while good, it wasn't perfect by any means. The clip was somewhat larger than 1.5", the hardware was sharp on the inside/could scratch your firearm if not careful when unholstering and reholstering, and while I love the company, but I wasn't a huge fan of the "Concealment Express" logo stamped directly onto the slightly chunky belt clip. Despite these cons, I proceeded to carry the G26 in the CE holster for almost a year before a new firearm purchase brought me back to Amazon for a holster.
I'll admit that I was at first considering more expensive options and those outside of Amazon, but in the end Concealment Express once again caught my eye. Due to their low price, fast shipping through Prime, and my history with them, I decided to give them a second try. I'm glad that I did!
All my previous qualms had, if by some psychic magic, been rectified by CE in the latest version of their IWB Kydex holster. The belt clip is now just right and properly holds its 15° cant on my 1.5" belt, the sharp hardware has been replaced with smooth round bolts that don't mar a gun's finish, and they have trimmed the thickness of the belt clip and removed the "Concealment Express" logo stamped on it.
Overall, this holster is wonderful for the price, especially with all these new changes that have further refined an already fantastic product. The kydex is good quality, the clip is resilient and holds my Glock 17 at the proper angle, the draw and reholster is smooth, retention is excellent (and adjustable), the design fully encapsulates the trigger area for maximum protection, and the low profile of the holster itself helps conceal my firearm well despite my thin frame. I would highly recommend this holster to anyone looking for a budget holster or even just a holster that's simpler than their current hybrid." — Craig
Reassuring review: "I've been carrying a stock Glock 26 with this holster at about 1:30 with 0 cant and it has been quite comfortable and easy to conceal, even under a t-shirt. This position is about the ideal position for concealment and access for my body type. For reference, I have an average chest and a soft gut that doesn't protrude but prevents tapering at the waist. I've experimented with adjusting the spacing on the screws to get it to favor pressing the grip inward for even better concealment, but it didn't really make a difference. Setting to max 15 degree cant does make drawing from concealment a bit smoother, but I found that it caused a bit more printing. Others might find that it actually aids in concealment, so nice option to have.
It uses a single clip, so it can tilt slightly as compared to the firm hold of a two-clip design, but it typically isn't very much when using a heavy belt of the same width as the clip. The single clip design makes it incredibly simple to remove and reinstall with the gun in place, which is mighty convenient at morning and night or when visiting someplace where locking the gun in the car is required by law. The small size of the holster itself also makes locking it away even easier, which may be of particular benefit to those prone to packratting their glove boxes.
Since it is straight Kydex, the portion pressed against the body will get sweaty over time. It's a minor inconvenience that is barely noticeable. I picked up a piece of adhesive felt, adhered it to the surface facing my body, and trimmed it along the edge. Still get a bit of sweat on the gun where the grip makes contact, but still not a big deal. I'm glad that they left it plain Kydex since it keeps the price down, minimizes the footprint, and allows for the user to pick their poison when it comes to dolling it up.
The only thing that I don't like are the belt clips. Two are included for different belt widths, which is nice. They are mighty robust and so hold well, but also the most obvious parts of the whole rig, including the gun. The shape prints real easy. Would have been far better to have edges that taper on the sides or use a thin steel clip. And the larger clip has a bloody, "Concealment Express," logo embossed on it! I get that not too many people are going to be inclined to scan the engraved logo on my belt clip, but it is still the complete opposite of hiding to have something that says, "HIDDEN THING," in plain English.
Despite my attempts to nitpick at things that other folks might not like, I do recommend this holster. Overall, a solid choice for anyone looking for a minimalist IWB holster that prioritizes concealment and value over aesthetics or unnecessary features.." — Shawn Baumgartner

Helpful review: "Very thin and comfortable. For the price, you’re not going to find anything better. If you’re thinking about getting one of those cheap $10 - $20 soft nylon/polyester type of holsters with the metal clip (uncle mikes/amazon el-cheapo/etc) do yourself a favor and get this instead. For just a couple extra bucks and free shipping with prime, this thing is light years ahead. In my opinion this holsters is light years ahead of anything else in its price range.
A few years ago I was using a no name kydex sheath that I paid $50 for and it was just fine, but the only advantage it had over this one is that there was a little more adjustment in the carry options because there were 3 sets of holes you could move the clip to, depending on how high or low you wanted the clip to ride. For less than half the price, this holster feels identical. I never even used the extra holes on my old one, this one comes set up pretty much exactly where I had the old one set up. The clip comes slightly loose so you can find the perfect angle or “cant” that works best for you, so once you decide on that, you should tighten the screws so that it will stay where you set it up to. Retention is excellent, and it’s adjustable. I really wish I could give 7 stars. Shipping was insanely fast (it was in my mailbox less than 24 hours after I ordered it!!!). I seriously can’t think of a single complaint. Might be nice if it had a metal clip instead of plastic, but I’m not worried about that at all because the plastic clip feels extremely tough and strong.
If you are trying to decide whether or not to buy this holster, just go ahead and get it. You are not going to find anything even remotely close, in this price range. When I can afford it I will be upgrading to a formed horse hide holster from the Glock store, but I’m in no rush now that I have this one. Trust me right now, you want this holster. I will be buying one for all of my carry guns and I will be buying one for my wife’s carry gun as well. I can not even explain how happy I am with this purchase. They could easily charge 2 or 3 times the price and people would still buy it." — kevin c.
Trending review: "This is a really good inside the pants holster. Very comfortable in both appendix or kidney positions. I had to tighten the screws down (which are standard Phillips head screws instead of hex head, which is nice) a lot more than how it came, but it holds my Glock 19 very well with no accidental falling out or otherwise even while running or whatever.
Easy pull and the holster is cut so I get a full grip on my weapon. No rubbing or feeling rough against my skin, even when sitting/driving in the truck for hours.
The belt clip portion holds the holster well and can be positioned at different angles which is nice.
If I have one complaint, it is that the Kydex is very thin. That adds to the comfort level, but it makes it feel as though the screws on this will break through the Kydex if I tighten them too much.
All in all, this is a good holster and it was exactly what I was looking for when looking at inside the waistband Kydex. I would buy this again." — D Harlow
Reassuring review: "I do EDC with this holster and it is amazing. I carry with it at 2-3 o'clock and this has to do with making sure the grip of the Glock doesnt print. I do have to adjust position getting in and out of the car but can comfortably sit on my waist in a car for at least an hour (haven't gone longer than this yet). The holster has basic retention with the nice "snap" sound as it sits into place and will not bounce around in the holster. Not a big fan of the fact that the kydex doesnt wrap around the bottom/outside of the trigger guard but this isnt an issue as the trigger guard sits a few extra mm inside. The bottom of the holster where the barrel is located is oen ended but fully contains the barrel. This holster accommodates suppressor sights but not a threaded barrel (which is odd but ok). For the price to performance this is an easy 5/5 would reccomend for a stock glock." — Dan

Helpful review: "If you are reading this, I think we can agree that the idea of conceal carry is a good one. Just take a look at the world we are living in, it's crazy and unpredictable. So, yes, I believe it's a good idea to conceal carry. However, there can be a disconnect between the idea and the application. For whatever reason you decided to protect yourself, your family, even others initially was, if you don't actually carry, those reasons become moot. The way I see it, there are two factors that will determine if we are faithful to actually carry. First, the gun we choose. There is so much on the internet telling us why this gun or that gun would be better for us and how this brand or that brand needs to be our choice. Hey, I'm all for research, but a gun must fit the owner and not the other way around. The second factor and probably the bigger of the two is how I choose to carry. This includes position of carry as well as holster and belt. Here is where we find so many options as well as opinions. For me, I want comfort and consolability, that's it. My choice of carry position 80% of the time is appendix. What materials the holster is made from is of less concern to me than how it feels and how it rides.
Last week, I received my new Warriorland Kydex IWB Holster, actually two of them. One standard and one carbon fiber. I would like to talk about both of them, but to be honest, the carbon fiber model has grabbed my full attention.
Here are my impressions from out if the bag to wearing for about a week. First impressions were good. They are put together well and all the edges are rounded. For a holster like this, things are good if nothing bad jumps out at you. The only knock I have is that neither holster had the extra hole to attach the claw. Not a huge deal, I can drill a hole, but should I have to? Testing fit for the first time was met with a nice snap! They both fit my Springfield Hellcat Pro just right, which I appreciate because holsters for this model have not caught up yet.
As for putting the holster to use, it's slim and light. It sits at a good height and is comfortable for both sitting and standing. The claw helps to push it back to the proper position. I do think using a wedge, which I have not yet, would make concealability even better. Even with a t-shirt printing is not bad, but with a button down concealing is great.
So where am I at with these holsters? After a week, I am pleasantly satisfied. Why? Because I don't think about it. When wearing my rig, it blends to my body enough that I'm not constantly adjusting or worrying or wondering. That's the best part. This is a holster that simply does what it should do. That makes me more apt to carry.
Overall thoughts… Is this the greatest holster ever made? No (does that even exist?). Is this a good quality Kydex IWB option in a crowded field? Absolutely! What I would say sets this holster apart from others is the price point. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong here. Try it out and see what you think, I did and I will stick with this holster(s) until something distinctly better comes along." — Riley

For the money, its actually very good.
The hardware used looks solid.
The retention is very good and the fit and finish rivals kydex holsters 4 times the price of this.

Helpful review: "Just got this holster for my Shield 9 and instantly liked it. The build quality is on par with any top holster I ever owned. No sharp or unfinished edges and fit the shield perfectly. It holds my Shield very securely and the retention adjustment actually works the rate at which it latches to the weapon without making it too tight on the frame like so many others do. Clean, crisp audible snap when inserting weapon and clean, free break when drawn. The clasp has good angle adjustment range and easily adopts from appendix to side to back carry position. Comfort is what one can expect from quality kydex holster. Trigger is properly covered and full length side cut covers entire slide on body contact side. Which in turn allows for a quick, snag free weapon deployment. Great holster for the price don't apply to this item as it would still be great at much higher price. If you are looking for something for M&P Shield 9/40 don't hesitate on this one, you won't be disappointed." — Zagger
Trending review: "This holster fits both my Shield 2.0 9mm and my Shield Plus 9mm very well. The trigger is fully and snugly covered, and the pistol clicks securely into the holster. I also like that the side of the slide that's nearest the body is fully covered by the holster. The retention tightness is easily adjusted with the included hex tool, and the inside of the holster is smooth. The price is also excellent for a kydex holster.
I didn't buy this holster for IWB carry so I can't comment on its comfort for that, but it seems well made and fits the Shields extremely well. I bought it for additional safety when the firearm is at home or with me in the car fully loaded with a round in the chamber; I want the trigger securely covered by a firm holster. This one serves that purpose very well and also protects the firearm. Very pleased with this holster." — a viewer
Reassuring review: "After I spent a lot of money on a leather brand-name holster and was sorely disappointed I went on Amazon to find something that wasn't so expensive that I could buy without breaking my wallet even more. This holster checks all the boxes for me. It was smooth kydex without any rough edges, it covered the trigger guard completely, it was comfortable to wear, and it had an audible click when the firearm was holstered. I have seen other holsters that are not as good as this one but they're asking a higher price. The price I paid for this one was fantastic (it would be worth even more really) and it fits my M&P Shield Plus wonderfully. I really love that audible click when holstered so I can know it's fully seated properly." — Ruby

Helpful review: "Really like it fits nice against my body
And very comfortable to reach and pull from.
Just one issue I would suggest adding some kind of thread locker to the bolts after you’ve done final adjustments, was shooting and pulling from the holster for some time and the screws backed off and some fell
Luckily I was able to find them and put back together" — Gilbert N.
Trending review: "YES THIS FITS THE XDM 10MM IVE BEEN LOOKING HIGH AND LOW FOR A HOLSTER!!! I HAVE THE 4.5 AND IT FITS LIKE A GLOVE ONCE YOU ADJUST THE TENSION SCREW!!! only had it for a day so i cant yet speak to its durability but if it turns out to be sub-par i will amend this reveiw to reflect that but for right now im over the bloody moon that i found a kydex paddle holster for my 10mm." — Torque
Reassuring review: "I like to open carry when I'm on my own property, so I figured I may as well get this instead of the much more expensive retaining holsters like the Safari's, I just want to get to my gun more easily in case of drug addicts or stray aggressive dogs try anything. This fits my M&P 2.0 .45 (5" threaded barrel) like a glove, though I fould I had to tighten the screws connecting the holster to the belt paddle after a while, but nothing using blue thread locking compound can't fix. I wish they included options for pistol mounted lights, but for the price, I can't complain." — Iaintnobody

Helpful review: "Bought this holster for the Springfield hellcat with O light Pl mini and Hex optic , About time I bought an affordable IWB holster for light bearing pistols. Because I am about Holster Poor ! The last three LBH's I have custom ordered totaled over $ 450.00 ! I know it's Chinese but I feel like I have single hand idly financed the American holster market in the last ten years and it's about time I get a break . I have a box full of expensive to mid range holsters that I didn't want to just give away with a gun I sold or traded. I read your comments about it poking you , so I just bought some mole skin I will dye black to fix it. It fit my Hellcat good and has good retention." — Roha Waha
Trending review: "Perfectly fits my Taurus G3C, fitted with Red dot optics, & a DEFENTAC brand pistol light, which is the knock off version of the “Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie”. So far construction seems sturdy & quality seems good, especially with the metal belt clips that have hooks designed to “latch” over your belt to prevent the holster coming out with your gun when you draw. Offers great gun retention, smooth draw, comfortable wear, & good ride height. After going through several holsters, this is the all-around best one that I have found yet for the price." — Mike
Reassuring review: "Been running it for the last 4 months daily and it’s held it to the hard outdoors wear and tear . The metal clips on it seals the deal the hold on tight (have Kore essentials belt) and blue lock tighted everything because u should do that anyways. But would buy again and looks bad ass well made 10/10 for me! Great holster" — Jimmy
